Proenza Schouler is a New York based ready-to-wear and accessories brand by designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough. For the name of their brand, the designers combined the maiden names of their mothers. Since 2002 Proenza Schouler has turned into one of the industry’s most influential brands. Traditional craftsmanship meets youthful designs – inspired by contemporary art and youth culture. The brand always puts its emphasis on tailoring and high quality fabrics. Proenza Schouler stands for wearable and casual luxury, experimenting with proportions, fabrics and colors.

My new dress was love at first sight. It is the perfect midi dress for warm spring temperatures. I decided to go for a super relaxed and casual look but you can style the dress just as well for a fancy night out. It is the ideal all-rounder for every occasion.
I love the high v-neck and the cap sleeves. The fitted empire waist creates a beautiful and very feminine silhouette. The crinkled dress is crafted in an all-over black and yellow plaid print. I really love how Proenza Schouler combines urban aesthetics and signature designs. With its sharp sculptural tailoring and outstanding color, my new dress is the perfect eye-catcher for spring.

As I already mentioned above I tried to keep today’s outfit as simple and casual as possible. You don’t need to add striking accessories and fancy shoes to create an interesting look – the dress is an eye-catcher and outstanding piece itself.
There is a handful of outfit combinations that will always look good. If I had to pick one as my favorite, I would always go for feminine dresses with sporty sneakers. You can never go wrong with a classic pair for your casual everyday look. Sneakers add a sporty and cool attitude and instantly make your dress look less girly and cute.
You can’t go wrong with a classic: The Adidas Superstar. Originally designed for the basketball court, the Superstar has grown from a sporty functional shoe to a hip-hop icon and a must-have when it comes to street style. This year Adidas is celebrating its 50th anniversary of the Superstar. I love its clean and classic design and the famous rubber shell toe.
